Something everyone experiences and yet is different for each, trauma can shut down anyone. Interacting with others can be one of the most difficult, yet necessary, skills to develop. Feeling like you just don’t fit in or are somehow different, struggling to make friends or form close connections are very common experiences, especially in today’s world. For those living with ADHD, or who are on the spectrum, it can be even more difficult. We can help you create a plan to build those skills and increase your confidence to improve relationships and navigate social situations more effectively.

Welcome to WellPath! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a passion for helping you live your most fulfilling life. My twelve years of experience have taught me that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to meeting your psychotherapy needs. The treatment goals we set will be as unique as you are. I will work collaboratively with you to help you move effectively through life’s challenges, identify what will bring meaning to your life, and develop coping skills to handle current and past stressors. I am committed to providing a warm, safe, non-judgmental environment where our work together will lead to lasting change. Let’s get started!
Helping clients for three decades, I began work with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders - often substance use issues happening at the same time as a mood disorder such as depression and/or anxiety. The classic chicken and egg scenario! Trained in a variety of modalities beginning with William Glasser's Choice Theory and Terrance Gorsky's Relapse Prevention Therapy, my therapeutic starting point is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy interventions. Simply put, I believe the quickest way to improving your day is to connect the urges and actions you experience to the thoughts and feelings driving them. Let's figure it out together!
